The Hadoop Developer

  • Be able to understand and use 2 key services of Hadoop platform a reliable, distributed file system called Hadoop Distributed File System      (HDFS) and the high-performance parallel data processing engine called Hadoop MapReduce
  • Plays a vital role in the organization.
  • Capable of processing large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data and supporting systems application architecture.
  • Familiar with data architecture including data ingestion pipeline design, Hadoop information architecture, data modelling and data mining,      machine learning and advanced data processing.
  • Be proficient in ingesting data (export and import data between MySQL and HDFS using sqoop, Load data into and out of HDFS using the      Hadoop File System (FS) commands), transform stage and store (join datasets, calculate aggregate statistics using Spark, develop queries     to get sorted and ranked results), perform data analysis (create, read table in Hive metastore, Optimize query performance, understand       and be able to partition).

Requirement Criteria

Work Experience: In order to appear for this certification exam you do not need to have professional work experience in any domain and in any industry.

Training Requirement: You need to mandatorily attend the training from our Authorized Training Associates to appear for the HDATM certification examination. You will be awarded with Associate ICCA Credits (AIC’s) through our Authorized Training Associates.

Who should apply for this credentials?

  • Anyone and everyone who intends to become a Hadoop Developer who has the capability and skills to manage, process, analyse large       unstructured, semi structured and structured data using Hadoop ecosystem or
  • Someone who is already working as a Hadoop Developer or someone who wish to work as a Hadoop developer.

Examination Pattern

The HDATM Exam is based on the Body of Knowledge for Hadoop. The certification contains 40 multiple-choice questions to test the participant’s concepts from the Body of Knowledge for Hadoop. Each question has equal weightage. There is no negative marking for any question. Exam is been closely monitored and proctored by the Authorized Examination Associate been appointed by ICCA Council. You will have a choice to select your convenient Authorized Examination Associate as per your preferred location.
